The Cape Adventure Garden Route Tour offers an exciting new concept along the Garden Route. It is an action-packed "must do" for all thrill seekers. You can join a variety of thrilling outdoor activities like: canoeing, river gorge hikes, Great White Shark diving, quad biking, waterfalls, forest, whales, wine, beaches and wildlife - the itinerary has something in it for everyone.

If you'd like to experience the whole Garden Route, you can join our 8-day Scenic Garden Route Safari. This tour sarts in Cape Town, ends in Port Elizabeth and you'll stay in guest houses and hotels. Price £799.00pp

Tailor-Made Travel:
This safari runs on scheduled dates throughout the year. During high season (September to April) the tour starts on Mondays and Thursdays and from May to August it departs only on Mondays. We can tailor- make a private safari to meet your departure date, time period, group size and budget. Contact the office for further information.

Cape Town add-on:
Before or after the tour we offer you a three-day package. On day 1 you'll be picked up to the airport and transferred to your accommodation, the next day you'll participate in a Cape Point Tour. The following day you'll be picked up for your Garden Route Experience. This includes 2 nights accommodation B&B, airport transfer and a Cape Point Tour.

Day 1
Depart from Cape Town and drive along N2 through Swellendam and on to Mossel Bay where we have time to visit The Diaz Museum, The Post Office Tree and other attractions of Mossel Bay. Late Afternoon drive back towards Albertinia on the way to a Sunset BIG 5 Game Drive at the Garden Route Game Lodge. Dinner and Jacuzzi under the stars before overnighting at the Santos Express train on the beach at Mossel Bay. [D]
Day 2
Depart from Mossel Bay and drive over the spectacular Robinson Pass on the way to Oudtshoorn. Spend the day at the Cango Caves; ride ostriches at the Cango Ostrich Farm and view Cheetah?s, Crocodiles and many other cats at the Crocodile Farm. Overnight in Wilderness at the Fairy Knowe backpackers situated in a forest of old Milkwood trees. [BD]
Day 3
Depart Fairy Knowe and do canoeing on the Wilderness lagoon spotting 200 different species of birds. As an optional extra catch the Outeniqua Choo-Tjoe steam train from George to Knynsa instead of canoeing. Thereafter we visit World?s highest Bungy at Bloukrantz (plenty of time to jump for those thrill seekers) as well as walk hanging bridge over Storms River Mouth in the Tsitsikamma National Park. Overnight at Stanley Island (South Africa?s only privately owned island) which includes half an hour champagne cruise. Dinner at own expense this evening on Stanley Island. [B]
Day 4
Today you have the Option of gliding effortlessly with qualified pilot over Plettenberg beaches spotting dolphins and whales. After gliding we depart Plettenberg Bay and head to Knysna for lunch and to explore Knysna heads. Thereafter we tour an aloe factory outside Albertinia and overnight at the Buffeljagts Dam just outside Swellendam with the option of going on the longest foefie-slide in Africa! [BD]
Day 5
Depart Swellendam and follow the coastal route towards Hermanus. There is time for an optional extra of Shark Cage Diving if any one so wishes. We explore Hermanus including whale watching (in season) and wine tasting at Hamilton Russell. From Hemanus to Betty?s Bay where we visit the penguins at the penguin colony. Return to Cape Town late afternoon via the stunning False Bay coastline where hopefully we?ll see more whales or dolphins. [B]
