Africa Trails offers tailor-made family safari holidays. These tours are specially designed for families travelling with children.

Southern and East Africa, with its sunny and outdoor weather offers the perfect environment for family holidays and vacations. With the warm Indian Ocean with its white sandy beaches for beachcombing, swimming and magnificent wildlife to entertain your children, make for the ideal family holiday.

Together with our travel consultants you can consult about your special wishes and needs; such as special amenities for children, limited driving time on the road and a less jam-packed program so there is no need to rush around. We tend to spend more than one night at each destination while on safari to give the children and parents time to enjoy themselves and relax in a safe setting.

The accommodation we use during our safaris are child friendly and you can choose either a separate room or a family-shared room. Our guides are specially trained and may take "kids only" excursions into the bush, look after them during dinner, or accompany your family in a private safari vehicle.

We have children and family discounts on most of our safaris so please contact us and we'll let you know what discount we can give you. Tour prices will depend on the age of your kids, whether you have one family room or a family suite with separate bedrooms and of course when you travel.
